2016-2017 Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Catalog

2016-2017 Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Catalog

Welcome to the 2016-2017 Academic Catalog

The effective date of this Catalog is the first day of the 2016 Fall Session.

This Catalog is designed to provide both an overview of general information about the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a detailed explanation of the University's degree programs, curricular requirements, and rules and regulations related to academic affairs. Additional information about student life-organizations, social and personal support services, and policies-is delineated in the Student Handbook, published by the Office of Student Affairs.

This Catalog is available for examination in high schools, colleges, and universities, public libraries, United States Government offices, and each academic office on the University of Louisiana at Lafayette campus.

This Catalog represents a bona fide effort at an accurate description of the facilities, curricula, and course offerings of the undergraduate programs of the University in effect at the time of its publication, but it is not a contract, or an offer to contract, which may be accepted by enrolling in the University. The University reserves the right to make changes in the arrangements described herein without notice. Students must take the initiative in ascertaining and meeting the requirements of the particular program in which they are enrolled.

Published by the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, issued annually at Lafayette, Louisiana, in the spring.

The course offerings and requirements of the institution are continually under examination and revision, therefore the institution reserves the right to make changes as required in course offerings, curricula, academic policies, and other rules and regulations. These changes will govern current and formerly enrolled students. Enrollment of all students is subject to these conditions.
