Structure and function of the physiological mechanisms underlying behavior as revealed by neuroanatomy and neurochemistry. Mechanisms involved in sensation, movement, states of consciousness, and motivation. Laboratory exercises include neuroanatomical localization.
Prereq: BIOL 111 or BIOL 122 or BIOL 220 and six hours of psychology with a grade of “C” or better.
