Bonin Hall (Rose Garden): Opening its doors for the Fall 2012 semester in our Rose Garden area, UL Lafayette’s newest residence hall will be accessible via University Avenue and is located just a quick dash from the quad. Bonin is one of the residence halls overlooking UL Lafayette’s peaceful Rose Garden. Conference Center: The Conference Center, located in the heart of campus, is a five-story multi-purpose facility that serves as home to academic and administrative offices, classrooms and meeting rooms, and a large computer lab for students. Additionally it houses 273 male and female students, both graduate and undergraduate. The Conference Center, originally a privately financed women’s residence hall built in the mid- sixties, was acquired by the University in 1976 and over time evolved into it present configuration.
Female Residence Halls
Harris Hall: Harris, located on the corner of Boucher and McKinley Street, is nestled on the outskirts of UL Lafayette’s beautiful Rose Garden residence hall area. Located seconds from the Student Union, and just down the road from Girard Park, Harris residents enjoy a stately, centrally located campus lifestyle. Recently remodeled to suit the modern student’s lifestyle, Harris houses a social cross-section of students who understand that camaraderie is an essential element of the college experience. As with each of the residence halls, entry into Harris is card accessible.
Apartments
Legacy Park Apartments: A complex of ten apartment buildings, Legacy Park is located at the corner of Girard Park Circle and East Lewis Street on the west side of campus. These 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, and 3 bedroom apartments are rented to single students.
Family Housing: Cajun Village: Cajun Village, a complex of eight-plex apartments is located on Lewis Street on the west side of campus. These two-bedroom apartments are rented to single parents and married students. Cajun Village has a total of 100 apartments. |
