Office of Innovation Management

The Office of Innovation Management is responsible for developing the capacity to commercialize the broad portfolio of intellectual property developed at UL Lafayette including the following: identifying and protecting the University’s Intellectual Property, negotiating licensing and other agreements with external parties and creating entrepreneurial/economic development opportunities that will benefit the University and the region. This office facilitates and stimulates commercialization interest and activity across all disciplines; directs technology transfer and commercialization of university research; and ensures that UL Lafayette is fully compliant with all federal and state compliance guidelines associated with innovation and intellectual property.
