HIM 482 - Health Information Management Internship

Four-week managerial affiliation. Students gain experience in all health information management procedures previously studied as well as gaining insight, understanding and skill in the managerial aspects of health information management administration.
Prereq: HIM 400 , HIM 402 , HIM 411 , HIM 413 , HIM 453 , LCHI 478 , and LCHI 479 with a grade of “C” or better OR LCHI 475 , HIM 405 , HIM 411 , HIM 413 , HIM 423 , HIM 431 , and HIM 453 with a grade of “C” or better.
Coreq: HIM 412 , HIM 422 , HIM 424 , HIM 454 , and LCHI 490 OR HIM 412 , HIM 422 , HIM 424 , and HIM 454
