Lectures and studio work that explore both discipline-based and integrated approaches to teaching visual arts at all levels. Introduction to historical, philosophical, cultural issues that inform creative approaches to curriculum and instruction. In depth exploration of art education curriculum, methods, and content. Required for art education majors.
Course Notes: Students may not receive credit for VIAR 215 and VIAR 216.
