General Education Curriculum: Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences
Essential topics include the chemistry and properties of all macromolecules, polymerization methods, mechanisms and kinetics. Morphology and physical properties of polymers, and macromolecules. Important industrial polymer materials and applications are included.
Prerequisite(s): CHEM 106 or CHEM 108 and CHEM 231 with a “C” or better in both.
