Lecture Contact Hours: 3
Instruction in use of evidence based medicine in the clinical setting. Focus on developing PICO questions, conducting a literature review, integrating research into clinical practice, assessing integrated practices to modify plan of care, decision making based off EBP, components of EBP, and IOM’s Core Competencies for the healthcare provider.
Prerequisite(s): KNES 553
Restriction(s): Master of Science in Athletic Training majors only.
