MCHE 489G - Robot Dynamics and Control

The mechanics and control of robotic systems: spatial kinematics of bodies, reference frame transformations, forward and inverse kinematics of robots, full kinematic simulation and animation, static and breaking force analysis, mass properties, dynamics analysis, kinematic path planning, linear control of robots, full dynamic simulation and animation, full dynamic path planned and controlled simulation and animation.  Hands on experience with industrial robot programming and task planning.

Prerequisite(s): MATH 350 , ENGR 313 , MCHE 301  
Corequisite(s): MCHE 363 , MCHE 474G
