PETE 315 - Smart Drilling Design and Optimization

Advanced drilling topics including well bore design, hydraulics sensitivity, swab and surge, cementing, stuck pipe, torque and drag, BHA dynamics, and well control advanced topics. Software application of the process and control of drilling a well using industry standards and methods.

Prerequisite(s): PETE 311 and PETE 312 with a grade of ”C” or better.
