PETE 435 - Applications of Numerical Methods in Petroleum Engineering

Petroleum Applications: fluid properties, nodal analysis, production decline analysis, well testing, reservoir simulation;  Numerical Methods:  roots of equations, numerical interpolation, curve fitting and regression, finite difference method.

Prerequisite(s): PETE 215  and MATH 350  with a grade of “C” or better.
