Using physical principles to understand animal movement and communicating ideas through scientific and non-scientific formats. Topics include scaling, morphometrics, kinematics, functional morphology, walking, swimming, jumping, bite force, and suction feeding. Emphasis on primary literature, experimental design, statistical analysis, and grant writing.
