CSCE 530 - Principles of Computer Architecture Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Focus on core concepts about contemporary computer design and associated hardware implementation, which are likely to exist in a contemporary or new machine. The covered computer architecture ideas and concepts all have been examined and utilized successfully enough to permit their discussion in quantitative terms. They include quantitative fundamentals, instruction-level parallelism and its exploitation, memory hierarchy design, thread-level parallelism, data-level parallelism, and domain-specific architectures.
