Evolutionary medicine integrates principles of evolution with the fields of medicine and public health. Topics explored include aging, metabolism, cancer, mental health disorders, reproduction, microbiota, and pathogens. Analysis of historic and current scientific papers and facilitate reflection on how research conducted at our university engages the field.
