MODL (6 Credits)

Students entering the University with two or more years of a high school foreign language should take the placement test in order to receive credit. See appropriate section of catalog. Students in the German Concentration begin with GERM 102  (3 credits).

For French/Francophone concentration majors, select an elective in consultation with advisor. For Spanish/Hispanic concentration majors, select a BHSC elective from ANTH, CJUS, ECON, GEOG, POLS, PSYC, or SOCI. NOTE: At least three hours of BHSC elective must be at the 200-level or above.

SCI electives are to be chosen from both biological (BlOL) and physical (CHEM, GEOL, or PHYS) sciences, two courses of which must come from the same science.

Minor (18 Credits)


An eighteen-hour minor must be chosen in consultation with the student’s academic advisor. The minor need not be in the College of Liberal Arts. Six of the eighteen hours must be at the 300-400 level. (See Specific Degree Requirements).
