Once you have completed all 18 semester hours as listed below, plus passed both Praxis exam requirements, you must send your official transcript(s) with a completed Change-of-Action Packet to the Louisiana Department of Education, Division of Teacher Certification and Higher Education. New course numbers may not appear on schedule yet so you may enroll in the equivalent course number in parenthesis.
Pre-requisite course: - Foundations/Survey of Exceptional Children - SPED 300, SPED 391 , SPED 491G or equivalent.
