Official GRE scores must be sent directly from the test administrator to the Graduate School. The personal statement should address the applicant’s purpose in pursuing the graduate degree and any additional information that may strengthen their application. The Graduate School requirement for letters of recommendation may be waived if the student is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette undergraduate program in the Department of Communicative Disorders.

Clinical Requirements (minimum 325 clock hours)
Folowing the first summer semester, students will be required to register for a clinical course during each of the sebsequent semesters of study. Clinical courses are not applicable to the 43 credit hours required for the master’s degree. Students must complete a minimum of 325 clock hours of clinical practicum at the graduate level. The actual number of clock hours of practicum performed at the graduate level will be determined by the number of hours the student had at the undergraduate level and the number of hours needed to complete the practicum distribution required for the certification being sought.
