The Master of Science in Engineering (MSE), Engineering Management Concentration is a 30 credit hour, non-thesis master’s degree program that requires twelve (12) credit hours of required courses and eighteen (18) credit hours of approved elective courses from the College of Engineering and the College of Business.

Admission Requirements
Applicants must have either (1) an engineering degree from an ABET/EAC accredited program or (2) an engineering degree from a non-accredited engineering program or (3) a degree from a closely aligned, non-engineering major. Non-engineering degreed applicants will be considered; however, in most cases, leveling courses will be required to ensure that the student has an acceptable engineering knowledge base. The required leveling courses will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Elective Courses (18 credit hours)
Engineering Courses (6-9 credit hours)
Six (6) to nine (9) credit hours of technical elective courses must be selected from approved engineering graduate level courses.
Business Courses (9-12 credit hours)
Nine (9) to twelve (12) credit hours must be selected from the following business graduate level courses. *A maximum of six (6) credit hours may be selected and no more than six (6) credit hours can be applied to the degree from MBA 500 , MBA 501 , MBA 502 , MBA 503 , and MBA 504 .
