Pre-MBA (For Engineering Majors)

The Pre-MBA minor, is open only to engineering and industrial technology majors enrolled in the College of Engineering.

All minors require a minimum of 18 credit hours with at least 6 credit hours at the 300/400 level. All course prerequisites, corequisites and restrictions apply.

Students must satisfy the requirements of three of the five MBA Foundation Graduate Courses on the following list.

MBA 501	(ECON 201 and ECON 202 , or ECON 300 ) and FNAN 300
MBA 502	MGMT 320 and MGMT 303
MBA 503	MKTG 345 and BLAW 310
MBA 504	QMET 251 and QMET 352 and MGMT 382

Minor Requirements (18 credit hours)

Three of the following five options must be selected for the Minor:

Option 1:
ACCT 201 - Introduction to Financial Accounting Credit Hours: 3
ACCT 202 - Introduction to Managerial Accounting Credit Hours: 3
Option 2:
ECON 201 - Principles of Macroeconomics Credit Hours: 3
and ECON 202 - Principles of Microeconomics Credit Hours: 3
or ECON 300 - Fundamentals of Economics Credit Hours: 3
FNAN 300 - Business Finance Credit Hours: 3
Option 3:
MGMT 303 - Information Systems Credit Hours: 3
MGMT 320 - Management of Behavior and Organizations Credit Hours: 3
Option 4:
BLAW 310 - The Legal Environment of Business Credit Hours: 3
MKTG 345 - Principles of Marketing Credit Hours: 3
Option 5:
MGMT 382 - Operations Management Credit Hours: 3
QMET 251 - Fundamentals of Business Statistics Credit Hours: 3
QMET 352 - Advanced Business Statistics Credit Hours: 3
