Note(s):
• Transfer students must earn 30 credit hours from UL, so additional courses need to be taken.
• There is no time limitation applicable to transfer credits into the Online RN to BSN Program.
• University credit may be granted through approved transfer of equivalent courses. Transcripts will be reviewed and credit awarded on an individual basis. Credit accepted by the Office of Admissions is valid for degree credit only to the extent that it satisfies course requirements in the BSN curriculum. The College of Nursing and Health Sciences has final authority for determining which transfer credits may be applied in the RN to BSN Program.

Corequisite Courses


The following courses must be completed prior to graduation from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Equivalent transfer credit may be awarded for courses taken at U.S. regionally accredited colleges and universities and may fulfill corequisite requirements.

English Composition (6 credit hours)


Mathematics (6 credit hours)


MATH 105  and STAT 214  are strongly recommended. Students may choose from the General Education Curriculum  list of Mathematics courses in consultation with academic advisor.

Social/Behavioral Sciences (6 credit hours)


PSYC 110  or PSYC 209  are strongly recommended. Students may choose from the General Education Curriculum  list of Social/Behavioral Sciences courses in consultation with academic advisor.

Natural Sciences (16 credit hours)


Literature (3 credit hours)


Choose from the General Education Curriculum  list of Literature courses.

History (3 credit hours)


Choose from the General Education Curriculum  list of History courses.
