World Intercultural Studies Concentration Course List


  • All courses with the prefix ARAB, ASL, FREN (except FREN 405), GERM, HUMN (when taught by MODL faculty), SPAN, and WICS count toward the concentration.
  • Students must complete 15 credit hours of courses with an international focus. A minimum of nine credit hours of these courses must be at the 300/400 level.
    • 3 credit hours must be in ANTH or POLS
    • 6 credit hours must be selected from the College of Liberal Arts
    • 6 credit hours may be selected from any college
  • Some courses may have prerequisites. Students must verify and fulfill all necessary prerequisites.
  • Students may request approval to count any course with an international focus toward the major. Approval is subject to Department Head review and will require a course substitution.
