Choose in consultation with advisor from among ENGL, HIST, HUMN, MODL, PHIL, ANTH, GEOG, POLS, PSYC, SOCI, CJUS, or CMCN. CMCN courses cannot exceed 45 credit hours in a degree plan.

Minor (3 Credits)


Select an 18-hour minor in consultation with advisor. Four courses from a non-CMCN elective may be applied to a minor. (See the College of Liberal Arts ,Specific Degree Requirements for information regarding minors). Six of the 18 hours of a minor must be in 300-400 level courses.

ARTS (3 Credits)


Select with advisor approval from a list of DANC, MUS, THEA, or VIAR.

HUMN or BHSC (3 Credits)


Choose in consultation with advisor from among ENGL, HIST, HUMN, MODL, PHIL, ANTH, GEOG, POLS, PSYC, SOCI, or CJUS. Replace elective with ENGL 352  for a grade of “C” in CMCN 212 .

† In order to meet University graduation requirements, each student must complete a minimum of 45 semester hours at the 300/400 levels. Students must achieve a “C” or better in ENGL 101  and ENGL 102  and in all CMCN courses. Typing skills of 40 WPM required.
