BHSC Elective must be chosen from ANTH, CJUS, ECON, GEOG, POLS, PSYC, or SOCI, with one course at the 200-level or above.

† Students must complete one of the following courses which place an emphasis on writing: BIOL 307 , BIOL 337 , BIOL 360 , BIOL 370 , BIOL 407(G) , BIOL 409(G) , BIOL 412(G) , BIOL 424(G) , BIOL 433(G) , BIOL 435 , BIOL 441(G) , BIOL 445(G) , BIOL 485(G) , or BIOL 495 . This course can be used to satisfy other curriculum requirements, as appropriate. 

 

Students receiving a degree through this curriculum are eligible to become Registered Microbiologists. Information about the National Registry of Microbiologists may be obtained at the office of the Department of Biology.

1 (Qualified students should take MATH 270 - Calculus I  and MATH 301 - Calculus II  in lieu of MATH 250 .)
