• Choose fifteen (15) credit hours from the following:

• ENGL 352 - English Grammar and Usage 3 Credit(s).
• ENGL 353 - Advanced English Grammar 3 Credit(s).
• ENGL 405(G) - History of the English Language 3 Credit(s).
• ENGL 425(G) - Semantics 3 Credit(s).
• ENGL 452(G) - Language, Culture and Society 3 Credit(s).
• ENGL 455(G) - Topics in Linguistics 3 Credit(s).
• ENGL 458(G) - Investigating Text and Talk 3 Credit(s).

• Note: Three hours of a foreign language may also be used to satisfy this requirement. Courses from related departments may be used to satisfy this requirement with permission of the Dean of Liberal Arts in consultation with the linguistics faculty.
