University of Louisiana at Lafayette is a member of the University of Louisiana System.

The 2023-2024 Academic Catalog is published annually and designed to provide an overview of general information about the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a detailed explanation of the University’s degree programs, curricular requirements, and Academic Affairs rules and regulations. Additional information about student life-organizations, social and personal support services, and policies may be found in the Student Handbook, published by the Office of Student Affairs.

The course offerings and requirements of the University are continually under examination and revision, therefore the institution reserves the right to make changes as required in course offerings, curricula, academic policies, and other rules and regulations. These changes will govern current and formerly enrolled students. Enrollment of all students is subject to these conditions.The University reserves the right to make changes in the arrangements, described herein, without notice. Changes shall go into effect whenever the proper authorities so determine and shall apply to current and prospective students.

The Academic Catalog is not a contract or an offer to contract by being enrolled or enrolling in the University.

Students must take the initiative to ascertain current information and meet the requirements of the particular program in which they are enrolled.
