Lecture Contact Hours: 3
Instruction in varied athletic training settings while caring for varying demographics. Competency-based skills related to general medical conditions; surgical interventions; recognition and referral skills related to systemic diseases, behavioral health conditions, and co-morbidities; pharmacological agents; working with other healthcare providers; educating patients; and determining a plan of care.
Prerequisite(s): KNES 552
Restriction(s): Master of Science in Athletic Training majors only.
