CMPS 460G - Database Management Systems Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Concepts, architecture, data models, design and implementation using entity-relationship model (or class diagram). Declaration and manipulation of data using SQL. Advanced SQL, including stored procedures, triggers, and transactions. Embedded SQL and web-based database application development, normalization, optimization, and database security.
Prerequisite(s): CMPS 261 and CMPS 341 ; and either MATH 270 or MATH 272, all with a grade of “C” or better
