ENVS 359 - Waste Minimization and Pollution Prevention Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Methods of classification, monitoring, and analysis of pollution from industry, agriculture, and municipalities. Global pollution problems such as greenhouse gases, ozone, acid deposition, and coastal nutrification. Upstream and end-of-pipe pollution prevention. Process mapping and TQEM methods for formulating and implementing prevention and minimization strategies.
