BIOL 401G - Quantitative Evolution Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Emphasizes the fundamental evolutionary concepts that provide explanations for the diversification of life on Earth. Specific topics include the evidence for evolution, adaption by natural selection, specification, systematics, molecular and genome evolution, and macroevolutionary patterns and processes. Students to work in small groups to explore specific topics in depth.
