Topics related to social action and diversity/equity/inclusion/belonging as they relate to communicative disorders and professional practice. Readings and discussions will emphasize current research in social action and DEIB. May be repeated for credit when topics vary.
Course Notes: This course may be used to satisfy social action and social responsibility core requirements for the Speech Pathology and Audiology Bachelor of Arts. Juniors and Seniors enrolled in 491G must apply this credit to their undergraduate degree. Same topic may not be repeated for graduate credit when taken at the undergraduate level.
