Provide students with knowledge of how to use evidence-based medicine in the clinical setting. Focus on developing PCIO questions, conducting a literature review, integrating research into clinical practice, assessing data to modify plan of care, decision making based off EBP, components of EBP, and IOM’s Core Competencies for the healthcare provider.
