MLSC 302 - Applied Army Leadership in Small Unit Operations Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 2 Lab Contact Hours: 3 Advanced study, practice, and application of direct-level leadership and small unit tactics fundamentals at the platoon level. Includes successful planning, coordinating, navigating, motivating, and leading a platoon in the execution of a mission. Weekly lab facilitation by peer MS III, overseen by MS IVs, and supervised by ROTC cadre.
Course Notes: This is the second course in the Army Senior ROTC Program’s Advanced Course curriculum offered only to students that have already demonstrated a desire to serve as a commissioned officer in the US Army. Successful completion prepares students for Cadet Summer Training/Advanced camp at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
