1 Students who intend to attend graduate school in chemistry or to be certified by the Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society (ACS) must take CHEM 301 , CHEM 302  and CHEM 401 . Other students can choose another advanced chemistry course in the fall and CHEM 303  in the spring.

2 Students who intend to attend graduate school in chemistry or to be certified by the Committee on Professional Training of the American Chemical Society (ACS) must take PHYS 201  and PHYS 202 . Other students can choose PHYS 207  and PHYS 208 .
