† This program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM).

A minimum grade of “C” must be earned in every course in the HIM curriculum. In order to enter the junior year in the curriculum, each student must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5 as computed by the Registrar. In order to enter the junior year (professional training), each student must have completed every required course or its equivalent through the sophomore year with a minimum grade of “C”.

Students completing the HIM curriculum will have an automatic minor in Health Informatics.
