Freshman Year (31 credit hours)
Modern Language (4 Credits)
- MODL 101 - Elective 4 Credits
Choose from FREN, GERM, or SPAN in consultation with academic advisor. All MODL course requirements must be completed in a single foreign language.
Communication (3 Credits)

Social/Behavioral Sciences (3 Credits)
Choose from the General Education Core Curriculum list of Social/Behavioral Science courses. Three hours must be at the 200-level or above.
Sophomore Year (30 credit hours)
Modern Language
- MODL 102 - Elective 3 Credits
- MODL 201 - Elective 3 Credits
Choose from FREN, GERM, or SPAN in consultation with academic advisor. All MODL course requirements must be completed in a single foreign language.
English Literature (3 Credits)
Choose one of the following:
Social/Behavioral Sciences (3 Credits)
Choose from the General Education Core Curriculum list of Social/Behavioral Science courses. Three hours must be at the 200-level or above.
Junior Year (30 credit hours)
Criminal Justice (6 Credits)
Choose from 300/400 level CJUS electives.
Minor (9 Credits)
Advisor approved electives; some of these must be used to complete an eighteen hour minor in an appropriate area. Six hours in the minor field must be at the 300-400 level. (See the College of Liberal Arts , Specific Degree Requirements for information regarding minors)
Senior Year (29 credit hours)
Criminal Justice (6 Credits)
Choose from 400-level CJUS electives.
Minor (9 Credits)

AHBS (3 Credits)
Choose elective outside of major area from arts, behavioral sciences, communication, humanities.
