Additional Requirements:
Students must earn at least an overall 2.5 GPA and an overall 2.5 GPA in all major courses.

Praxis Exam Requirements: Students must pass the Praxis Middle School English Language Arts: Content Knowledge (5047), and the Principles of Learning and Teaching: Grades 5-9 (5623).

The requirements of the program are continually under examination and revision by the Louisiana State Board of Secondary Education (BESE). The University reserves the right to make changes as required. All enrolled candidates are subject to these changes.

All required state licensure exams must be passed by established deadlines.
