Admission Requirements

Potential students will have to complete 12 hours in medical terminology, human anatomy and physiology I, human anatomy and physiology II (or medical science), and healthcare technology prior to beginning the course work. Individuals with a baccalaureate degree in any field will be accepted once they complete the required 12 hours listed above.

Semester 1:

• CRM 400 - Cancer Registry Structure and Management Credit Hours: 3
• CRM 402 - Cancer Registry Operations Credit Hours: 3
• CRM 404 - Cancer Disease, Coding and Staging Credit Hours: 3

Semester 2:

• CRM 406 - Oncology Treatment and Coding Credit Hours: 3
• CRM 408 - Data Quality, Follow-up, and Utilization Credit Hours: 3
• CRM 410 - Abstracting Methods Credit Hours: 3

Semester 3:

• CRM 412 - Cancer Registry Practicum Credit Hours: 3
