MCHE 320 - Mechanics of Materials Laboratory

Stress-strain relations, strength, deformation mechanisms, fracture, creep, and cyclic fatigue. Experimental techniques, analysis and interpretation of experimental data. Finite element modeling of common experiments including tensile, compression, bending, cyclic fatigue, verification and validation. Engineering writing.

Prerequisite(s): ENGL 102  or ENGL 115 , ENGR 219 , MCHE 103 , MCHE 201 , and MATH 302  with a grade of “C” or better.
