MCHE 320 - Mechanics of Materials Laboratory Credit Hours: 2 Lecture Contact Hours: 1 Lab Contact Hours: 2 Stress-strain relations, strength, deformation mechanisms, fracture, creep, and cyclic fatigue. Experimental techniques, analysis and interpretation of experimental data. Finite element modeling of common experiments including tensile, compression, bending, cyclic fatigue, verification and validation. Engineering writing.
