MATH 102 - Quantitative Reasoning Credit Hours: 3 Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 0 Critical thinking and applications of mathematical concepts to real-world topics such as descriptive statistics, growth and decay models, and finance. Graphing calculator required. Designed for students in non-technical fields and may be used as a prerequisite for MATH 206 , MATH 210 and STAT 214 only.

Course Notes: Only one of MATH 102, MTHS 105 and MTHS 105S , MATH 105 , MATH 109 , MATH 143 may be used for degree credit.
Prerequisite(s): Minimum ACT MATH score of 19 or SAT MATH score of 510 or ACCUPLACER Next-Generation QRAS 250 or ALEKS PPL score of 35 or Cumulative High School GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or prior credit for a college-level general education mathematics course.
